Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Bonsi (“we”, “us”) collects when you use bonsi.com.co, how we use it, and the choices you have. Bonsi is a single-user visual task manager; we collect only what is needed to run the service.

Information we collect

• Account information. Authentication is handled by Clerk. When you sign in, we store the identifier Clerk provides (your user id and the email associated with your account) to scope your data to you.
• Content you create. The projects, tasks, descriptions, links, tags, due dates, and statuses you add to Bonsi, stored so we can show them back to you.
• Files you upload. Files attached to tasks are stored with our file-storage provider and served back to you (and to anyone you choose to share a public link with).
• Payment information. None. Bonsi does not charge for access and does not collect or store any payment or card details.
• Local browser storage. We store small preferences (theme and language) and your session token in your browser. These are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

How we use your information

• To provide the service and show you your own projects and tasks.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To respond to support requests you send us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your project content for advertising.

Sharing

Content stays private to your account unless you explicitly publish a project or a task as a read-only public link. We share data with the service providers that make Bonsi work — Clerk (authentication), our hosting and database provider, and our file-storage provider — only as needed to deliver the service.

Data retention

We keep your content while your account is active. When you delete a task it is removed from the app; deleted records may be retained for a limited period for recovery before being purged. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To make a request, email contact@bonsi.com.co.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent change.
